An Announcement from Davis Downtown

Davis Downtown is happy and proud to announce that due to an extremely generous $25,000 donation by Greiner Heating, Air & Solar Energy to the matching stimulus fund, we will be reopening our Gifting Stimulus Program for one more round during this great time of need as we head into another month of shelter-in-place!  Exact date and time of reopening to be announced very soon.

With this additional matching stimulus money, up to $50,000 more will be infused into our downtown by our community purchasing gift cards/certificates from their favorite businesses through our program’s web portal @  There are still dozens of businesses still eligible to benefit from this program that didn’t hit their stimulus fund cap during the first round, and MANY MORE are still signing up that initially missed out!

“Greiner Heating, Air & Solar Energy, Inc. is pleased to provide an additional $25,000 in stimulus funding to match future gift card/certificate purchases. Many downtown Davis businesses will benefit greatly from the financial support and generosity of local citizens. The funds received also go a long way to boosting the morale of shuttered businesses. We’re proud to serve this wonderful community!”

-- Patty , David and the entire Greiner Team

In addition to Greiner Heating, Air & Solar Energy, we want to once again thank the City of Davis, Tandem Properties, Bill & Nancy Roe, and the Chen Building for their financial contributions to help make this program a huge success.  An even bigger thanks goes out to OUR COMMUNITY and caring citizens that want to see all of our local businesses return!

We are hoping another company is willing to step up and donate an additional $25,000 (or portion thereof) prior to the end of this coming weekend, therefore having a total of $50,000 in matching stimulus funds for this second and final round!  Once this round is complete, the DDBA has other responsibilities and initiatives that we need to be able to focus our limited resources on during the Road to Recovery process, but we are absolutely thrilled we will be helping contribute toward the infusion of additional funds into our downtown businesses during this great time of need.
